continually engaged with no time to lose concentration. Programs are designed
to motivate boys and girls alike.
JP Creatives follows the annual LAUSD school year which begins around Labor
Day and ends at the end of June. Programs are also available during summer. For
private schools that do not follow the general LAUSD school schedule, a special
calendar can be created. Classes do not
meet on government and religious holidays.

JP Creatives’ after-school programs reflect a partnership with schools to provide exemplary enrichment modules on a weekly basis.
This program allows students to create original digital stories with the assistance of our teachers. Each student will create an original two to three minute digital story on video which will be screened in the last class of the session. Students will be given a DVD copy of their pieces at the end of the session.
Three sessions are offered in each school year and each session lasts between 8 to 10 weeks depending on the school’s calendar.

JP Creatives’ innovative and creative program channels
the energies of youths from ages 7 to 18 into creating positive and
self-expressive performance pieces relevant and current to their environments
and experiences. Student will be exposed to the creative process through
practical hands-on experience and will create short two to three minute
performance piece. A series of improvisational acting, movement and storytelling
exercises and workshops will be used.
Content
for each class will be age appropriate and adjusted according to the abilities,
skills, talents and interests of the students. Exercises, workshops, rehearsals
and performances will be taped to allow participants to observe themselves and
to record the creative process. Students will be given appropriate instruction
and responsibilities in running basic camera, audio-visual and editing
operations.
The
main focus throughout the program will primarily be on the creative process and
secondarily, on the product. Each student will be given a final two to three
minute edited DVD copy of their final performance which will be screened in the
last class of the session. This program can be customized as a short-term arts
education program for schools, as an after-school program or as an
extracurricular activity program at local parks and recreation centers.
